Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Roofers pay us when you ask for a quote. You never pay RoofCheckFL anything.
What is Florida's 15-year roof rule?
Under Florida law (s. 627.7011), insurers can't refuse to write or renew a home policy just because the roof is under 15 years old. For roofs 15 or older, they can require an inspection; if it shows at least 5 years of useful life left, they can't refuse based on age alone.
Where does the data come from?
County permit and property appraiser records, Google satellite roof data, NOAA storm reports and FEMA flood maps. It's an estimate, not an inspection.
Who sees my information?
No one, unless you ask for a quote. Then only one licensed roofer listed on our Roofing Partners page.
